The Bridgedale StormSock Midweight Boot is a fully waterproof, windproof and breathable three‑layer sock engineered for relentless wet weather and cold conditions. Its dense, resilient terry‑loop footbed, heel and ankle deliver lasting warmth and cushioning, making long days in saturated terrain far more comfortable.
The inner layer is primarily knit from Merino Wool, prized for its natural anti‑bacterial, anti‑odour and moisture‑management properties. This ensures your feet stay warm, dry and comfortable even during high‑output activity. A tough nylon outer protects the HydroTech waterproof membrane from boot abrasion, while Lycra® knit through every course provides Bridgedale’s signature performance fit.
A flat toe seam, elasticated arch support and the Forward Flex system prevent movement, bunching and hotspots. The stretch PU membrane and Bridgedale’s matrix lamination process bond all three layers together, creating class‑leading stretch and long‑term durability. The boot length sits comfortably above standard hiking‑boot cuffs and pairs easily with waterproof trousers or gaiters to prevent water ingress.
