The Exped Ultra 5R is built for 4‑season, human‑powered adventures where every gram matters — trekking, long‑distance hiking, bikepacking and alpinism. Despite its ultralight, compact design, it delivers serious warmth and comfort for cold‑weather missions.

Using SYNMAT TECHNOLOGY™, Texpedloft insulation is laminated to both the top and bottom of the air chambers, ensuring long‑lasting thermal performance. The 7 cm air cushion cradles the body, while the head‑to‑toe air chambers provide full‑length support, stability and durability.

The Ultra 5R uses recycled, bluesign®‑recognised 20D ripstop polyester, keeping weight low without compromising strength. The included Schnozzel Pumpbag enables rapid, moisture‑free inflation — no lung power required, no condensation inside your mat.
