The Mont Guide Hoodie is a lightweight, bulk‑free insulating layer designed for cold, wet and fast‑changing conditions. The latest model now features upgraded G‑LOFT® ECO EVOX insulation — a high‑performance synthetic fill with an exceptional warmth‑to‑weight ratio. G‑LOFT® achieves impressive loft with more air pockets than comparable insulations, delivering thermal performance on par with high‑quality duck down while maintaining reliable performance in damp conditions.
To further enhance weather protection, the Guide Hoodie uses the same Hydronaute XT™ waterproof, windproof and highly breathable membrane found in Mont’s expedition‑grade down jackets. This 12D ripstop fabric provides outstanding resistance to precipitation and wind, allowing the hoodie to function as an outer layer in light, temporary rain. Hydronaute XT actively transports moisture away from the insulation, keeping G‑LOFT® ECO EVOX drier and warmer in cold, wet and windy environments.
A double‑ended YKK locking zipper allows easy one‑handed operation and provides venting options — especially useful when climbing or belaying. An insulated, adjustable hood, practical pocket layout and low‑bulk fit make the Guide Hoodie a versatile mid‑layer or standalone piece for alpine missions, bushwalking and winter travel.
